Considered a key American figure in the development of the personal spaceflight industry, Peter Diamandis has created many space-related businesses and organizations, including the X PRIZE Foundation, an education non-profit prize institute whose mission is to create radical breakthroughs for the benefit of humanity. He is also Co-Founder of Zero Gravity Corporation, which offers parabolic weightless flights to the general public, and Co-Founder of Space Adventures, which has flown four private citizens to the International Space Station.
