David L. Hosley, Ed.D.

Mr. Hosley is Chief Executive Officer/Founder of Professional Development LLC and a retired Air Force Colonel who served in key leadership positions at Major Command Headquarters, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Secretary of the Air Force, and Secretary of Defense, including ten years at the Pentagon. 

Mr. Hosley served in aviation, programming, planning, budgeting, operations research, training, doctrine, research and development functional areas.  Upon leaving the Air Force, he established a Federal Aviation Administration Airway Science program in Miami, Florida.  He then moved to Orlando, Florida as a Program Manager and Senior Scientist, University of Central Florida, for Department of Defense Programs. Lockheed then asked him to come to Kennedy Space Center to manage their technical training, certification, and career development programs for the U.S. Space Shuttle for ten years.  Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University then brought him on to be Dean, Worldwide Campus, to build new programs worldwide, and then as Senior Director of Development  for the University.

Mr. Hosley finally decided to form his own Limited Liability Company, D & B Professional Development, where he now serves on Aviation, Spaceport, Literacy, and Workforce and Education Boards.  And, he is on the Planning Committees for the Space Investment Summit-6 and the International Space Development Conference 2009.

Mr. Hosley holds a doctorate in Educational Administration, University of Arizona, and is a graduate of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces and Armed Forces Staff College.
