Mr. Moore is Chief Operating Officer of Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, operated by Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts.
Mr. Moore oversees and directs Delaware North’s food and beverage, hospitality, retail and guest services operations at the international travel destination. More than 1.4 million people visit the visitor complex annually to enjoy such attractions as Shuttle Launch Experience, Rocket Garden and the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame. In addition, the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is adjacent to NASA’s only launch facility.
Mr. Moore brings more than 30 years of experience in the entertainment and tourism industry to his new post. Most recently, he served as the President and CEO of Independence Visitor Center Corporation of Philadelphia, where he oversaw visitor operations for Independence National Historical Park and the Liberty Bell. He has also held executive positions with Six Flags. He also served numerous public organizations in Philadelphia, including Historic Philadelphia, Inc., the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau and Welcome America, Inc.
Mr. Moore is an FAA-licensed commercial pilot, private helicopter pilot and flight instructor.
