John W. Stempeck
Mr. Stempeck is the founder of Avalon Associates, Inc.
Mr. Stempeck spent 10 years as Director at Braxton Associates, now Deloitte and Touche Consulting, where he advised Fortune 1000 clients on strategies for growth in revenue and profitability either organically or through merger and acquisition. Recent work has been focused on Aerospace and Defense clients involved in new technology adoption for energetics, specialized armor, and space-launched components.
Mr. Stempeck has both large company and small company experience, having been Vice President of Business Development at Xerox Corporation where led the design for Xerox’s professional services group and the team that created a revolutionary system for book manufacture which has become a Harvard Business School case study.
Mr. Stempeck is a board member of two growing and profitable companies and has been CEO for two startup companies, one in the corporate training field and the other in the mortgage recording industry. He has seven issued and applied patents and was instrumental in the design of electronics for camera systems.
